What is a Cruise book and why sponsorship? . When
a U.S. Naval, a U.S. Coast Guard ship or a U.S.M.C. unit spends any
time away from
their Home port or Duty station, they naturally collect photos, friends
and a lot of memories. Then at the end of that tour, whether
deployed at sea or in a combat theater, such as Iraq or Afghanistan,
they create a book
that captures the lifelong memories from that
particular tour of duty. These are called Cruisebooks and are
held by many as valuable trophies of their experience. We have
been
preparing these Cruisebooks for many years and are
continuously
looking into ways to make the books more affordable for
the lower ranking Soldiers, Airmen or Sailors, some of
which have a tough time making it financially, having left
their
lucrative employment to take up
arms on our behalf. Naturally U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army
Units
also create these type of books. The service Academies; West
Point, Annapolis and the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado create
annual Yearbooks, in most cases only for the graduating Cadets.
Your company can get involved and benefit at the same time. This is one of the few ways of reaching those serving away from home. Naturally, we will send you adequate copies of the completed books and we are sure that you will hear from the many troops themselves, who may have benefited from your generosity. We want to keep the books in the format that they have been traditionally produced in over the many years and will therefore limit each book to one sponsor only. As
